I am meticulous when it comes to grammar and would like any people roleplaying with me to also be. If you are not good at such things and would still like to then it is fine with me as long as you try your best. I understand some humans are just not good at these things.

Wordcount
I like replying to longer than normal, detailed posts but those are not necessarily required unless we are playing out a large plot. My only requirement I'd have to point out in this field is that there must be at least one nice solid paragraph. I cannot reply to one-liners well at all (meaning I cannot reply to them with more than another one-liner). If you would like to do a roleplay like this I would kindly suggest we take it to PM and do not count is as a major element in our characters' lives.

APPEARANCE :: Sherlock has a long, dense, and wavy black on white coat. His eyes are an ice blue color as is actually quite common for his breed and his muzzle and most of the white of his face is ticked and dotted all over with black speckle marks, almost like somebody took a marker and hit it against a sheet of paper boredly, several times. White makes up the majority of his coat but his striping down from his head is a long bit of jet that stretches across his body and to the tip of his tail. Yet, his undersides are still controlled by the white as this segment only effects his back and a small amount of his sides.
PERSONALITY :: Sherlock is highly intelligent. He possesses emotions, however, he makes the purposeful decision to suppress them because he believes that emotions obstruct the ability to reason logically, which is a skill that he needs to solve cases. He solves cases to relieve boredom, which is a severe problem for someone of his intelligence to face, and one that he has been battling since most likely early puppyhood. Sherlock has also developed this capacity to ignore emotions from a troubled puppyhood, verbal abuse or constant bullying. This abuse has caused him to protect himself with a thick, seemingly impenetrable wall. This is quite indicative of constant betrayal. Sherlock is not a sociopath. A sociopath is any individual with anti-social personality disorder, and although Sherlock displays some traits of the disorder, he does not display enough to be diagnosed as one. He does not lie or deceive for personal pleasure, he is not prone to aggressiveness, and he is capable of feeling guilt and remorse. He is also capable of forming lasting, meaningful relationships, which is something that a sociopath cannot do.
HISTORY :: Sherlock was born to a pair of purebred Border Collies owned by a professional breeder and trainer of the dog type. Him and his sister Phoebe were sadly the only survivors of the litter but were raised nicely up to three months before being sold to their new homes. Tragedy struck after a month of life with his new owners and their house burnt down. Sherlock had smashed through a window and ran off into the woods when he had first seen the fire start so when the family decided they would move from Springwell to a "less flammable place", they took the thought that their dog had died in the fire with them. So that was how young Sherlock lost his first family. Soon afterwards the lone male began to help police dogs and the sheriff's Basset Hound dogs with cases and mysteries. He was so successful that eventually a young police woman named Reba decided she could use him as her dog and attempted to put a leash and collar on the dog but he snapped at her. This broke their trust in him for quite a time but after a while it was noted he was a town gem and should be treasured and treated like a human citizen. There was a special doghouse built for him outside of the sheriff's office and he's lived there ever since but takes off to wander the town at his own will.
